Welcome to Solami Music Room! I'm Kaila Lifferth and I am obsessed with music pedagogy. I chose to create this blog as a way to share some of the things I'm learning, alongside things that are working (or not working) for me in the elementary music classroom. I'm a perpetual learner--my summers (and, let's face it, most school months) are typically filled with professional development, reading about teaching, listening to music ed podcasts, and curriculum planning. It's my jam. There's just too much knowledge out there to gain to ever feel like I have enough. And if you're here, chances are you feel the same. So let's dive in!
